Hugh has been directing commercials and pop videos over the last number of years after beginning his career on the other side of the camera when at the age of 9 he appeared opposite Liam Neeson in the classic Irish film ‘Lamb’ and later in ‘My Left Foot’.  Hugh has directed a number of short films over the years, his most recent short ‘Corduroy’ is a visually bold piece combined with sensitive character direction which won an award at the Clones Film Festival.
Hugh’s most recent TV credit was as part of the creative team involved in the IFTA winning RTE comedy sketch show “Your Bad Self” along with Amy Huberman and Domhnall Gleeson.  And if this doesn’t keep Hugh busy enough, he is also a very keen stills photographer. His first solo photographic exhibition was a huge success and recently Hugh’s work was a Saatchi Showdown finalist.
