Since he started directing commercials John has established himself as one of Ireland’s best, with a renowned ability to combine beautiful photography and seamless post production. His talent for working with big name talent is also evident in his spots featuring a variety of sport stars including Eric Cantona, Roy Keane and Brian O’Driscoll. His film work has also gained industry recognition with his short films Two Fat Ladies and Venom winning numerous prizes including the prestigious TCM Classic Shorts Award at the London Film Festival in 2006.  John recently directed two new McDonald’s commercials following on from last year’s successful campaign set in Dublin in the year 2222.
